Callao Salvaje is a small self contained residential town and holiday resort, that is part of the municipal district of Adeje on the west coast of Tenerife.

Looking at a map of the west coast, it is very easy to miss the town altogether, although if you look closely enough you should find it hidden away between the resorts of Playa Paraiso and Playa de La Arena, approximately 12km north west of the infamous resort of Playa de las Americas.

There are quite a few bars and restaurants along the seafront and a couple of supermarkets.

  Recently refurbished, five bedroom Tenerife villa. The lounge/ dining room leads off to a balcony overlooking the pool with sea views. It has a 42" TV and DVD player. The kitchen is separate with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster etc. There is a utility room with washing machine. The two bedrooms on this floor are both en-suite with double beds. The upstairs in this Tenerife Villa leads to small roof terrace with chairs to take in the wonderful views of La Gomera, the coast of Playa de Las Americas and mountains.

  Downstairs in this Tenerife Villa from the lounge is the master bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom with patio doors onto the pool area. The second bedroom has twin beds and en-suite bathroom, the third bedroom has twin beds and patio doors overlooking the pool and there is a bathroom across the hall. The hall leads to a seating area with books, magazines and pool towels which lead out to the pool area. The pool area in this Tenerife villa is large with various sunbeds and sita lye chairs, pergola with table and chairs, gas BBQ and bar area.

Costa Adeje & Playa De Las Americas

The resort of Playa de Las Americas is located on the southwest coast of Tenerife, where there is reputedly the best sunshine record on the island. The Beach of The Americas was named to commemorate one of the last places visited by Cristopher Columbus before setting sail for the New World. Since then however, the resort has changed a great deal and now offers an extensive selection of amenities.

The resort centre offers a staggering choice of restaurants to satisfy all requirements; a selection of beaches offering a variety of water sports, a waterpark and an abundance of nightlife. The El Camison beach and promenade have greatly improved the area with deluxe hotels, designer shops, theatre and casino. Reina Sofia airport is approximately 18 kilometres away.

Located just west of Playa de Las Americas, and incorporating the ares of Torviscas, Playa Fanabe, La Caleta, Playa Paraiso & Callo Salvaje lies Costa Adeje. Golf Del Sur & Amarilla Golf

Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf are approximately 15 minutes drive away from Reina Sofia Airport and as the names would suggest are popular golf resorts. Golf del Sur has a 27 hole championship golf course and Amarilla Golf has an 18 hole golf course. Both are low key resorts and attract visitors of all nationalities who want a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings.

The San Blas commercial centre has a wide and varied selection of bars and restaurants, some offering nightly entertainment and plenty of shops to browse around, whereas the promenade to the new marina between Golf Del Sur and Amarilla Golf has seen some lovely new sea front restaurants open up, which are great settings for an evening meal overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The village of El Medano, known for its ‘International wind surfing competitions’ is located close by and the tiny fishing village of Los Abrigos, popular for its restaurants is 5 minutes away by car.

They are identical with 2 bedrooms and a max occupancy of 6. First floor: 1 master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, twin bedroom, bathroom. Ground floor: Kitchen area, lounge with double sofa-bed, toilet, French windows leading to the private terrace and to the pool. These Tenerife Villas are equipped with air-con, Sat TV (English channels), DVD player, safe box, hairdryer. Kitchen is equipped with electric hob, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker. There is an iron and an ironing board. Fully equipped with all the appliances for 6 persons. Although there is a garage, we do not give access to it. DVD’s can be hired from reception.

  Outside this Tenerife villa, the large front patio has the sun on it all day and is furnished with garden table & chairs. At the rear of the Tenerife villa we have another table & chairs overlooking the pool and surrounding gardens. There is also a private rooftop terrace with sun loungers and sea views. The complex has a large shared pool and children's pool with loungers, towels to be used from reception in order to keep out any persons who are not staying on the complex (this is monitored by the lifeguard). There is a children's play area, as well as a children's club, where children may be left under supervision for a short period of time enjoying such activities as treasure hunts and crazy golf. The poolside restaurant has evening entertainment /music which finishes at midnight.   This 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom private Tenerife Villa is located on the Golf Del Sur. On entering the large hallway you have the kitchen on your left, which comes with all mod cons. Washing machine, dishwasher and fan assisted oven. Out of the kitchen and into the dining and living area, here you can watch SKY TV on the 32' plasma TN, DVD player or just relax listening to music. A conservatory from the living area leads out onto the large terrace area which boasts a private heated pool, sun loungers, patio tables and chairs and umbrella. There is also a hot tub and bar (Which we are afraid you will need to stock yourself!!) La Caleta

The small coastal village of La Caleta is part of the municipal district Adeje, approximately 25km or 15 miles west of the Reina Sofia International Airport.

Looking at a map of the west coast of Tenerife, it is very easy to miss the town altogether, although if you look closely enough you should find it hidden away between the resorts of Playa Paraiso and the more infamous Playa de las Americas.

Although it has a stone beach, taking a short half an hour walk to the south will lead you to some small coves of golden sand.

On all the surrounding beaches, you can hire sun beds, pedal boats and wet bikes.

Once a small, quaint fishing village, Los Cristianos has been gradually transformed into a thriving port and a sophisticated holiday resort for families and couples alike.
