Callao Salvaje

Callao Salvaje is a small self contained residential town and holiday resort, that is part of the municipal district of Adeje on the west coast of Tenerife.

Looking at a map of the west coast, it is very easy to miss the town altogether, although if you look closely enough you should find it hidden away between the resorts of Playa Paraiso and Playa de La Arena, approximately 12km north west of the infamous resort of Playa de las Americas.

There are quite a few bars and restaurants along the seafront and a couple of supermarkets.

  Recently refurbished, five bedroom villa, four Villa 8 San Antonioen-suite. The lounge/ dining room leads off to a balcony overlooking the pool with sea views. It has a 42" TV and DVD player. The kitchen is separate with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster etc. There is a utility room with washing machine. The two bedrooms on this floor are Parqueboth en-suite with double beds. The upstairs leads to small roof terrace with chairs to take in the wonderful views of La Gomera, the coast of Playa de Las Americas and mountains.

  Downstairs from the lounge is the master bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom with patio doors onto the pool area. The second bedroom has twin beds and en-suite bathroom, the third bedroom has twin beds and patio doors overlooking the pool and there is a bathroom across the hall. The hall leads to a seating area with books, magazines and pool towels which lead out to the pool area. This pool area is large with various sunbeds and sita lye chairs, pergola with table and chairs, gas BBQ and bar area.

Costa Adeje & Playa De Las Americas

The resort of Playa de Las Americas is located on the southwest coast of Tenerife, where there is reputedly the best sunshine record on the island. The Beach of The Americas was named to commemorate one of the last places visited by Cristopher Columbus before setting sail for the New World. Since then however, the resort has changed a great deal and now offers an extensive selection of amenities.

The resort centre offers a staggering choice of restaurants to satisfy all requirements; a selection of beaches offering a variety of water sports, a waterpark and an abundance of nightlife. The El Camison beach and promenade have greatly improved the area with deluxe hotels, designer shops, theatre and casino. Reina Sofia airport is approximately 18 kilometres away.

The spacious terraces are great for sunbathing or just taking a dip in the pool. Please note we aim to keep the pool temperature to around 27 degrees throughout the year. The pool is not solar heated but electrically heated. The pool is 3.5m x 5m with steps leading to max depth 1.25m. Entrance hall leads to large living/dining area. Dining table which extends to sit 8. Large corner sofa and chair, coffee table, sideboard with DVD. Large Flat Screen TV on the wall with satellite box which receives the community satelitte and this includes BBC and ITV and Sky News. Off the living room is the kitchen and this is fitted with Kettle, Toaster, Inbuilt Microwave, Inbuilt Oven, Four ring induction hob, Inbuilt dishwasher. All crockery and glasses and cooking ware are provided. Outside the kitchen is the utility area which has an inbuilt washing machine, airer, ironing board and iron. A cloakroom/WC is also on this level Upstairs: Master bedroom with king size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, ceiling fan, air/con/heating unit. Flat screen TV. Separate Wardrobe Area, then ensuite bathroom with bath with shower over, twin sinks, mirror over sinks, bidet, wc.   The accommodation is set over 4 levels and sits in approximately 600m2 of its own landscaped gardens with private swimming pool. On entering you will be immediately struck by the spaciousness of the open plan, air-conditioned living area. In the lounge there are 2 sets of patio doors leading onto the poolside patio and garden, flat screen TV with digital satellite receiving BBC 1 & 2, channel 4 & 5, sky free view with the option of bringing your own sky card from the UK. The integral kitchen is fully fitted in chrome and dark wood comprising of all essentials such as kettle, toaster, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, waist height oven, microwave, ceramic hob and extractor and a dishwasher. For dining there is an extendable table that will comfortably seat 10 and a free-standing breakfast bar with stools. Prepare to be amazed at the vast size of the outdoor area with covered patio offering sofas to relax in and an ample al-fresco dining area where you can serve food cooked on the charcoal BBQ. In the afternoon, lie by the clear water of the pool on the bathing area or take advantage of the extensive lawn.   Moving onto the 1st floor, you will find the master bedroom which is easily the largest room in the house. A super king-size bed dominates the space but there is still plenty of room for a sofa to relax in and a dressing area with fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and separate shower. It doesn’t stop there; this room is air conditioned and has huge patio doors leading out onto its own private terrace with views of the pool, garden and the wonderful sunset out to sea.

  Still on the first floor, there are another 2 double bedrooms, one with king size bed and large en-suite bathroom the other with twin beds and separate shower room. What is interesting about this part of the villa is it’s almost self-contained with a door leading from the main landing into a passageway connecting these rooms where you will find another air conditioning unit and a terrace. Ideal for the family who want a bit of privacy.

  Up onto the 2nd floor and the roof-top terrace. Here you can get everyone together to enjoy some snacks, play a game of table tennis before cooling off under the outdoor shower. Afterwards hop onto a sunbed and drink in the fantastic panoramic views while soaking up the sun till the very last drop has faded from the sky.

  In the basement of the villa you will find the laundry room with washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board. We have installed a safety deposit box in this room also. Golf Del Sur & Amarilla Golf

Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf are approximately 15 minutes drive away from Reina Sofia Airport and as the names would suggest are popular golf resorts. Golf del Sur has a 27 hole championship golf course and Amarilla Golf has an 18 hole golf course. Both are low key resorts and attract visitors of all nationalities who want a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings.

The San Blas commercial centre has a wide and varied selection of bars and restaurants, some offering nightly entertainment and plenty of shops to browse around, whereas the promenade to the new marina between Golf Del Sur and Amarilla Golf has seen some lovely new sea front restaurants open up, which are great settings for an evening meal overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The village of El Medano, known for its ‘International wind surfing competitions’ is located close by and the tiny fishing village of Los Abrigos, popular for its restaurants is 5 minutes away by car.

  This detached 3 bedroom villa is in a prime position on this popular complex. The Villa is fully equipped with the following facilities; DVD player, CD player, Safe, Satellite TV, Washing Machine, Clothes dryer, Hob, Oven, Microwave, kettle, Toaster, Iron & Ironing Board, Fridge & Hairdryer. There are 2 bathrooms, one is en-suite and all 3 bedrooms have ceiling fans. The spacious lounge has a Dining Table and Chairs and there are Books & CD’s for your use in this property. DVD’s can be hired from reception.

  Outside the villa, the large front patio has the sun on it all day and is furnished with garden table & chairs. At the rear of the villa we have another table & chairs overlooking the pool and surrounding gardens. There is also a private rooftop terrace with sun loungers and sea views. The complex has a large shared pool and children's pool with loungers, towels to be used from reception in order to keep out any persons who are not staying on the complex (this is monitored by the lifeguard). There is a children's play area, as well as a children's club, where children may be left under supervision for a short period of time enjoying such activities as treasure hunts and crazy golf. The poolside restaurant has evening entertainment /music which finishes at midnight. Washing machine, dishwasher and fan assisted oven. Out of the kitchen and into the dining and living area, here you can watch SKY TV on the 32' plasma TN, DVD player or just relax listening to music. A conservatory from the living area leads out onto the large terrace area which boasts a private heated pool, sun loungers, patio tables and chairs and umbrella. La Caleta

The small coastal village of La Caleta is part of the municipal district Adeje, approximately 25km or 15 miles west of the Reina Sofia International Airport.

Looking at a map of the west coast of Tenerife, it is very easy to miss the town altogether, although if you look closely enough you should find it hidden away between the resorts of Playa Paraiso and the more infamous Playa de las Americas.

Although it has a stone beach, taking a short half an hour walk to the south will lead you to some small coves of golden sand.

On all the surrounding beaches, you can hire sun beds, pedal boats and wet bikes.

Once a small, quaint fishing village, Los Cristianos has been gradually transformed into a thriving port and a sophisticated holiday resort for families and couples alike. It has managed to retain much of its original charm with traditional Canarian style buildings, a pretty plaza and pedestrian shopping areas.
